About Us

Enclosure Guy is a family owned & operated business that was established in New Bedford, MA in 1983 as primarily a sail loft servicing Newport, Boston, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket while developing our current offering of the Roll-Down Patio Enclosure Systems. Our founder/designer/principal was also a prolific awning designer for over three decades. His mastery of shape, form and function are on full display here (right) at one of the areas most prominent (family owned) clothing stores. Circa 1985.

We now have two locations: our OEM factory just outside Austin, TX, and our office in New Bedford, MA. Our over 35 years of continuous development of this product line has resulted the industry’s highest quality (custom) vinyl patio enclosure on the market today.

About Clint R. Oliveira

The founder/designer/principal of Enclosure Guy is a formally trained & educated draftsman, loftsman, patternmaker, sailmaker, yacht designer and innovator steeped in the New England traditions of the textile and maritime industries. Since an early age, he has demonstrated an unwavering dedication towards the art and science of custom design/build/install in multiple mediums. His most recent innovation in custom canvas has become an industry standard by combining an age-old trade with twenty first century technology. Delivering the highest level of quality, service and customization using a standard production model. That’s where craftsmanship and value intersect.
